Mango Lodge
Mango Lodge is one big wide open space. almost a third of the peoperty is the west facing deck with soft seating, dining table and wonderful views of Toucari Bay - you will only go inside to prepare food or to sleep. Mango Lodge has no windows, just hand-made louvred shutters which all open to allow the Caribbean breeze right through the house.
Outside you can wander the gardens and, depending on the season, pick mangoes, star-fruit, a pineapple, some guava, paw-paw, limes, tangerines or a fallen coconut. In smaller quantities or yet to fruit are the grapefruit, orange, lemon, coffee, cocoa, avocado and cashew. Alternatively relax on the deck and watch the hummingbirds hover from flower to flower.

What you will find
Mango Lodge is not visible from the road, you have to follow the dirt steps down into the garden and under the 100 year-old mango tree to find it. The cottage consists of:
A 36 foot back porch
A huge living space with wicker furniture
Master bedroom with king-size bed and views of the gardens and ocean (yes you can sit up in bed and gaze at the Caribbean sea)
Second bedroom with queen-size bed and views onto the garden
Open kitchen area with stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glasswear and utensils you will need
Large roofed verandah with dining table, two sofas and panoramic views across Toucari bay
Half an acre of tropical gardens....
